TALENTA believes that like a house needs to start with a firm foundation, financial stability starts with a layer of knowledge.
We focus on developing contextualized, theologically robust knowledge resources that help Christian workers navigate the complex world of finance. According to the World Bank, financial illiteracy is one of the biggest hurdles people face in the developing world.
Not only will this help individuals around the globe, but individuals with a basic level of financial literacy will positively influence the organizations they help to lead.

TALENTA believes that 'teaching someone to fish’ is only part of the solution. We also want to provide the 'fishing pole.'
We seek to provide the tools necessary for long-term financial planning. Equipping Christian workers with secure and accessible means to save and then allowing them to grow those savings (matching and multiplying) provides a long-term and cost-effective solution to many of the issues facing Christian workers.
These tools will also offer an effective way for organizations and donors to protect, enhance, and magnify their long-term goals.

Our goal is not to help people ‘get rich’ but to use modern financial systems to help Christian workers achieve financial stability, especially as they approach the end of their careers. We understand that being in ministry often requires a financial sacrifice and we have specifically designed our programs to help you focus more energy on ministry than on worries about finance.
Your stability directly impacts your organization. Since the institution is made of individuals, the stability of the individual directly impacts the stability of the institution. By helping you have greater levels of financial stability, we serve to protect the long-term impact of your ministry.
We are called to be like Joseph (Gen 41: 46 - 57), to leverage the unique blessings and systems of where we live to help people face challenges outside their control.

TALENTA believes that God calls every individual believer to proactively and humbly make plans for the future. The book of Proverbs has much to say about planning; 21:5 says it most explicitly, "the plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to want."
Our goal is not to help people get 'rich' but to help them become financially stable. We believe that when individual Christian workers achieve a basic level of financial stability, it will allow them to focus on 'magnifying' their ministry instead of worrying about their basic financial needs. The biggest impediment to aging Christian workers sharing their wealth of wisdom is the struggle to make ‘ends’ meet.
TAlENTA believes that, like a gardener who uses proper farming knowledge and tools to grow plants that bless the community, we can use proper financial knowledge and tools to do the same. To learn more

We are currently beta testing our program. We plan to launch version 1 of our program in Egypt, Jordan, and a 3rd country (TBD) in 2023. From there, we plan on rapidly scaling this program to other nations. If you would like to recommend a country or join the waiting list for this program.

We get our funding from various sources, from individuals to foundations. Our program is a practical way to serve the needs of the global church and has attracted a significant amount of interest from donors looking to innovate and cost-effectively magnify their contributions.
-
In stage one of our program, your money stays with you. We will verify that you are saving money through monthly check-ins/verifications. For every “dollar” (or USD equivalent) you save, we will work to appropriately match it with a donor dollar. As our organization grows, we will integrate secure deposit systems so we can freely and efficiently transfer monies back and forth at will.

We like to explain donations in terms of ‘focusing’ instead of ‘designating.’ Our goal is to serve as many Christian workers as possible. Part of our usefulness is helping donors strategize how to most effectively magnify their donation(s) to help not only the people they know but the global mission of Christ.

Talenta was designed to enhance and magnify donor goals. One of the problems facing organizations in the Developing World is the challenge of financially planning for the future. The unique challenges of developing world ministry combined with a desire to show donors low costs + high effectiveness means many organizations/individuals are not thinking about long term financial needs.
This is especially seen in leadership transitions when organizations cannot bear the burden of supporting retiring leaders and recruiting/retaining a generation of new leadership. In the long term, unnecessary financial burdens are placed on organizations/individuals who are the most financially vulnerable, leaving years of faithful investments (by donor and worker) in a mission at risk. Usually leading to a failure or instability of a particular mission without an influx of ‘cash.’
We believe TALENTA provides a cost effective solution and long term solution to many of the long financial challenges faced by Christian workers and institutions.
